Meet Your Innkeepers
From the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida to the southernmost part of the Blue Ridge Mountains, we couldn’t be more excited to be the owners, and your hosts, at the beautiful Aska Lodge Bed and Breakfast.
About Us
Our lodge sits on just under three wooded, mountainous acres in the beautiful Aska Adventure Area. While the location is perfect for seclusion and relaxation, we’re only three miles from downtown Blue Ridge with access to great restaurants, shops, and points of interest.

We were often guests here, staying at Aska Lodge a couple times a year to recharge from our everyday lives. We hope we can help you with that too! We all need to stop and take a breath every so often and we believe our place, coupled with all the North Georgia Mountains have to offer, is just what the doctor ordered!

Before becoming B&B owners in 2020, we held careers in law enforcement, But we’ve enjoyed life abundantly and spent decades sharpening skills on the side too. You’re welcome to ask us about Melissa’s past line of natural soaps and cosmetics, how to tend bees (Melissa is a backyard beekeeper), and our adventures with Melissa as a private pilot.
Me? Well, how does a mere mortal follow that? I did enjoy my college career playing baseball and the years I spent helping others in the emergency management and health care fields. I recently retired after 25 years in law enforcement. In 2013, I was recognized and honored as Deputy of the Year.

All of that is just to let you know a little about us. More importantly, we’re excited to have you come for a visit. Our place is your place. No one in this crazy world should ever feel alone, and we want Aska Lodge to be a place you can come to relax, remain private if that’s what you need, or sit and chat with us. We enjoy visiting with our guests and hearing your stories too!
We hope to see you soon! Coffee is ground fresh for you every morning - and don’t forget to ask us about our hen that lays green eggs.

Sincerely,
Steve & Melissa Gray
