This page answers the questions we hear most often before guests reach 178 Calen Drive. Details can shift with seasons and special events, so call 706-632-0178 if you want the latest note on arrival or breakfast.

Fresh coffee and morning light at a bed and breakfast table

What time should we arrive?

Check-in windows are confirmed when you reserve. If you expect to be late because of Atlanta traffic or a late flight into a regional airport, text or call so we can leave a light on and simple instructions at the door. The mountain roads are dark after sunset, so plan fuel and snacks before you climb the ridge.

How does breakfast work?

We serve one seated breakfast service each morning, timed so early hikers and late risers both get a hot meal. Coffee is ground fresh for the house. If you need vegetarian, gluten-free, or allergy-aware plates, tell us when you book, not at the table, so we can shop and prep with care.

Where do we park?

Park in the marked guest spaces near the main entrance. If you are bringing a truck with a trailer for lake toys, mention it when you reserve so we can point you to the flattest spot on the gravel.
